We all know Harvey Weinstein as co-owner of Miramax Films, co-chairman of the Weinstein Company, and an executive producer from movies such as Pulp Fiction, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Kill Bill: Vol 1&2, Finding Neverland, Grindhouse, and Sin City, with tons more of other famous movies under his belt. So why is it rumored that this dood is broke?!

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the sequal to 2005 hit, Sin City, is up for grabs due to "the Weinsteins not being able to afford to pay a contractually obligated re-up fee, or not having the resources to get the movie off the ground."

Over the past years, the Weinstein Company have been trying to stay afloat with no help due to a lawsuit with NBC Universal paying an "undisclosed sum" over the overrated Project Runway series. I bet you that was a pretty penny that had to pony up... Plus his company marked down their shares by 25% and fired 15% of its staff...

In the end, of course Weinstein and company issued a statement that it wasn't true and they still own the rights to the movie... we'll see but all I know is that Jessica Alba better be naked in the next Sin City movie.so hot.
